At Shanmukha Innovations, we undertake custom instrumentation development to support the bespoke needs of our Research and Industrial customers.
With the emergence of COVID-19, the team has worked on building a solution for increasing access to RT-PCR testing in India.
Leveraging our expertise in optical metrology, we have developed a number of systems including a whole slide imaging system, a portable isothermal DNA amplification, and read-out device, and a fringe projection-based 3D profilometer.
Our customers include startups and leading research institutes such as IISc, JNU, IIT Tirupati, and Central University to name a few. We take pride in supporting our Indian customers doing world-class research.
We are eager to work with other research labs in India and the world.

The Team
Sai Siva Gorthi obtained his B.Tech from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad in 2003, M.Sc (Engg) in Optical Metrology from Indian Institute of Science in 2006 and Ph.D. in Optical Metrology from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL), Lausanne, Switzerland in 2010. He was employed as a post-doctoral researcher in Optofluidics at the Rowland Institute at Harvard University, Boston, USA from 2010-2012. He joined the Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics, IISc in 2012 as an Assistant Professor, where he is currently an Associate Professor.

His 20+ years of experience in Healthcare Domain propels the team to bring to market innovative solutions and technologies in Medical Diagnostics.
Sairam advises with solutions towards building and managing new projects in a smooth timely fashion.
His 20+ years experience in the field of e-Commerce and products takes the company in the right direction.
Bhaskar with his 20+ years of experience in IT industry provides in depth advice in ensuring projects and products can be delivered with high efficiency and sustainability
Sujith has 15+ yeas of experience in Product and Industrial design provides insightful and functional solutions to various challenges in the field of medical devices and scientific instrumentation.
Yatish is a go to person for all the project management and the project execution. With an experience of 10+ years, he has been working with ShanMukha’ s vision of building great products and solutions.
Having more than two decades of management experience, Venugopal, launched 20+ products for various organizations. Has vast experience in gathering and analysing marketing information, creating and streamlining marketing strategies & creating and implementing marketing campaigns.
Also the Founder Director, a DPIIT recognized Startup, M/s Ahabhouna Mechatronics Pvt Ltd, which is developing a medical-grade advanced air-purifier.
